In summer the Hochkar is a cultivated alpine pasture area at an altitude of 1380 - 1808 m and is the starting point for over 150 km of marked hiking trails in the Göstlinger Alps.

The Hochkar summit can be reached with the detachable 4-seater chairlift and a walking time of approx. 20 minutes. A wonderful panorama in a picturesque mountain world, flowering meadows and dense forests guarantee a relaxing holiday for the whole family.

In winter the Hochkar is a popular skiing area.
