The five elements have left their mark on the town. They have shaped the landscape and people's everyday lives in the "Eisenwurzen" region. The 5 Elements exhibition invites you to "grasp" history and track down archive treasures in the show depot.

The Mostviertel Toy World on the 2nd floor of the museum allows visitors to immerse themselves in the imagination of children in various "worlds". A poignant look into the everyday lives of families from Waidhofen and the surrounding area in the interwar and post-war period. A special highlight: the doll's houses from the Kaltenbrunner Collection, most of which are handmade and lovingly designed, showing various life situations.
