Description
The impressive centerpiece of the Ybbsitzer Schmiedemeile is the Erlebnisbrücke, a metal 25 m arch bridge that spans the Prollingbach waterfall.
Created in 1996 by the blacksmiths Franz Wahler and Josef Eybl, the adventure bridge was soon awarded the Lower Austrian Trade and Crafts Prize and in 1997 the special prize of the "Golden Trowel" townscape campaign.
The loop building next to the adventure bridge is also worth seeing.
