The cultural treasures and breathtaking views are the focus of this tour. Starting from Sankt Valentin, your journey takes you via the family excursion destination Tierpark Haag and Seitenstetten Abbey to the Sonntagberg basilica, which can be seen from afar. A fantastic panoramic view opens up from the top. The Kaiserin Elisabeth Warte, the Panoramahöhenweg, the cultural village of Reinsberg, the Maria Seesal pilgrimage church, the Ybbsitz forging center and the town of Waidhofen an der Ybbs are just a few of the highlights of the approx. 140 km long tour.
With 60 modern e-charging stations, the Cider and Iron Road guarantees all e-mobilists a relaxed stay in the region. A total of three themed routes take you to the most beautiful places in the south-western Mostviertel. Combine them as you wish and discover your favorite route. Route description eMobility in the Mostviertel - The Scenic
At the border between Moststraße and Eisenstraße, you will encounter the widely visible landmark of the Mostviertel – the Sonntagberg with its historic pilgrimage basilica. From there, the route leads you along the panoramic ridge trail along the high ridge to the Hochkogelberg. Enjoy the wide view with a glass of Most at our top hosts and wine taverns or with a cozy picnic in the middle of nature.
