Brief description
ATTENTION: Due to construction work, there will be a
partial closure of the Vordere Tormäuer between Trübenbach and Trefflingfall, as well as the hiking trail from Brandgegend to the Vordere Tormäuer, every Monday through Thursday between September 16 and October 9.
From Friday through Sunday, hiking is possible throughout the entire area!
Alternative routes:
1. Trübenbach – Nestelberg – Eibenboden +1.5 hrs
2. Trefflingfall – Panoramastraße – Trübenbach +1.5 hrs
A beautiful hike along the Erlauf River, passing the Teufelskirche, Toreckklamm, and Trefflingfall.

Route description Trübenbach bis Eibenboden
Start at the bridge in Trübenbach. Follow the hiking trail past the Teufelskirche (rock formation) through the Vorderen Tormäuer. Continue downstream along the wild Erlauf River to the starting point of the Ötscher-Tormäuer Nature Park—the Toreckklamm gorge. Pass the Trefflingfall waterfall and continue downstream to the Eibenboden entrance to the nature park.
