Your stay
Simply in special surroundings
In wooded surroundings, our guesthouse is the starting point for a wide range of activities all year round, and the destination for all those seeking peace and quiet.
Sleep with the window open
Our 6 rooms offer a place for a simple rest, a break and relaxation.
You can choose between double or single rooms, also with an extra bed. All are equipped with WLAN, TV and bathroom (with shower and WC). Our larger rooms with balcony also offer a comfortable seating area and a separate WC from the bathroom.
Guests have access to a communal kitchen for preparing meals, coffee, etc..
Rooms (in various sizes) and a small studio with cooking facilities are also available for seasonal or annual rent. Further information is available on request.
Relax or be active
Our location in Langau makes it possible to explore the surrounding villages of Gaming, Lunz am See, Lackenhof am Ötscher and Mariazell and to undertake activities in the Ybbstal Alps region. The landscape is characterized by the rugged rock faces of our local mountain, the Ötscher. And where there are forests and mountains, there is also plenty of water: the Erlauftal valley is home to the turquoise-green Erlaufsee lake in the south-east. The crystal-clear Ois, which later becomes the Ybbs, flows right next to the house. Not far away is the mystical Lake Lunz. What the surrounding area invites every guest to do anyway: breathe in the forest air.
Slopes, cross-country trails, ice crystals
The winter landscape is ideal for snowshoe hikes, cross-country skiing or ski tours. The Lackenhof am Ötscher ski area is 4km away, the Hochkar ski area is 37km away and the Ybbstaler Solebad is 20km away.
Alpine pastures, wilderness, the sound of water
Enjoy a summer retreat: hiking for pleasure or with a high altitude rush, on a pilgrimage along the Upper Austrian Pilgrims' Trail, on themed tours through the Dürrenstein UNESCO World Heritage wilderness area, diving into crystal-clear rivers and lakes, diving into other worlds - such as the Ötscher stalactite caves.
