Herrenalm (open from june till september)

Lodge / hut

Your stay

The alpine hut on the Herrenalm, which dates back to the Middle Ages, is located at 1,327 m above sea level, sheltered in a small basin that can only be reached on foot. As a reward, a rustic, stone-built alpine hut with a steep hipped roof awaits you with drinks and a simple snack.

If you climb a little higher up to the Leonhardikreuz, you can enjoy impressive views of the Ötscher, Dürrenstein and the Lunzer Seental valley. The elongated summit ridge of the Dürrenstein makes the mountain hike an impressive experience thanks to the open alpine landscape. The dormitory in the Herrenalm hut is designed for approx. 20 people and can only be used with your own sleeping bag.

Overnight guests are requested to contact Mr. Daniel Ramsauer by SMS.
