Margit Privatzimmervermietung is just a few minutes' walk from the center of Waidhofen an der Ybbs - and yet it feels like a small retreat between the town and the Ybbstal Alps. Host Margit Heller has not created a hotel here, but a place where arriving is easy. A welcome greeting in the room. Breakfast in the morning. Conversations that are allowed to stay.
The twin room with its own bathroom offers everything you need for a few relaxing days: bright tranquillity, plenty of comfort and the good feeling that nothing needs to be artificially staged. The solar-heated pool under the roof extends the summer a little, even when the cooler air is already blowing in from the mountains. Motorcycles and bicycles are safely stored in the garage, while hiking trails and excursions into the Alpine Mostviertel region start practically on the doorstep.
And before you know it, a planned short stay turns into a weekend that could have lasted longer.
♡ Out and about together: dogs are very welcome here. A one-off fee of € 20.00 is charged for their stay. A cooling facility for food and dog waste bags are available, and walks around the house invite you to get out and about together. Out of consideration for the furnishings, dogs are not allowed in the bed or on upholstered furniture.
