Antoniuskapelle

The St. Anthony Chapel, built in 2012 on a steep hill not far from the Bruckwirt-Tazreiter inn in Opponitz, was commissioned by Franz Tazreiter out of gratitude for regaining his health after a serious skiing accident. The chapel has seating for 40 and standing room for 10.

St. Anthony
St. Anthony of Padua was canonized shortly after his death. He is the patron saint of engaged couples, married couples, and families. Bakers and miners also consider themselves under his protection. He is also known as the restorer of lost items.
