Deep Roots Adventures

Deep Roots Adventures in Palfau is located where the Salza picks up speed again and adventure stories are often told for a long time to come - in the middle of the Eisenwurzen Nature Park and the Gesäuse National Park region. Since 1998, everything here has revolved around nature, exercise and shared experiences on the water.

The Saggraben campsite is located directly at the main exit point of the Salza - a place for all those who are at home outdoors. The wide range of accommodation on offer ranges from cozy apartments to rustic huts and dormitories to spacious camping pitches. Individual travelers as well as families, groups of friends or clubs will find the perfect place for their time out. There is also the Sälzam restaurant, where people like to sit together after a day full of impressions.

The region around Palfau offers the best conditions for active days in the great outdoors. Rafting on the Salza, hikes in the Gesäuse or excursions into the mountains of the Ybbstal Alps - here the adventure starts right on the doorstep.

♡ Out and about together: dogs are very welcome here. There is a surcharge of € 5.00 per night for the stay. Dogs are allowed in the room, in the breakfast area and in the indoor and outdoor areas. A bowl and a cooling facility for food are available, and walks around the house invite you to be out and about together.
