Description

In summer, the Hochkar is a managed alpine pasture area at an altitude of 1380 - 1808 m and is the starting point for over 150 km of marked hiking trails in the Göstlinger Alps.

The Hochkar summit can be reached with the detachable 4-seater chairlift and a walking time of about 20 min. Wonderful panorama in picturesque mountain scenery, blooming meadows and dense forests guarantee a relaxing vacation for the whole family.

Tour tips to the Hochkar summit:

  • Summit hike from the mountain railroad valley station to the Hochkar (2.6 km)
  • Summit trail from the mountain station of the Hochkar Bergbahnen (0.7 km)

The Hochkar 360° Skytour viewing platform is also in the immediate vicinity!

In winter the Hochkar is a popular skiing area.
