Description
The daffodil meadows at the foot of the Maiszinken dominate the landscape with their abundance of flowers. Throughout the course of the year, there are always new varieties.
The vegetation, which is very species-rich with almost 80 plant species, is dominated by golden oat, downy oat, pinnate twig and erect grass. Numerous impressive and endangered flowering plants, including several orchid species, can be found here.
Such areas have become very rare and are of the highest conservation value.
