Gasthaus Kerschbaumer in Waidhofen an der Ybbs is a popular venue for meetings, weddings and celebrations, while the lunch and a la carte business are other delicious building blocks. Johannes Kerschbaumer sources dairy products from the Lueg farm, and some of the fruit and vegetables come from his own harvest. What many people don't know: Gasthaus Kerschbaumer produces its own delicious ice cream. And there is even a special Kerschbaumer cycling jersey for sporty regulars.
After working at home and abroad, keen amateur cyclist Johannes Kerschbaumer returned to his parents' business and has been running the inn, which was founded in 1895, since the beginning of 2015. The down-to-earth and innovative inn is also recommended for cyclists. Particularly worth seeing: a former stable was turned into a guest room, the "Kwölb", for around 80 guests.
