Pure nature - welcome to the Höhenstein Stube!

The organic farm with the newly built guesthouse and adventure rooms is situated in an idyllic and absolutely sunny location at almost 1,000 m above sea level directly on the Höhenstein circular hiking trail in the middle of the Lunz mountains with a wonderful panoramic view of the highest peaks of the Mostviertel. There are also numerous opportunities for the youngest guests to explore life on the farm, for example by visiting the mother cows with their calves.

Furthermore, the house is the starting point for the so-called "Höhensteinrunde", a circular hiking trail with great views, which leads to the summit cross of the Egger Berg (1,134 m) and can be completed in a comfortable two-hour walk. The Ötscher-Tormäuer Nature Park is also a hotspot for extended hikes.

As the only natural lake in Lower Austria, nearby Lake Lunz invites you to enjoy swimming, boating and fishing away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. You can enjoy cultural delights at the Lunzer Seebühne. The daffodil blossom in spring in Lunz am See also attracts numerous visitors.

In the evening, you can review your day's vacation over a 3-course meal and a good glass of wine in the new restaurant and make plans for your next activities. The restaurant consists of a cozy parlor for about 60 people with a bar and a small play cave - ideal for family or birthday parties. The natural wooden grandstand is also suitable for panoramic weddings.
