Via the Riffelsattel and the Ötscherschutzhaus to the iconic mountain of the Ybbstal Alps. The fastest way to the summit.

Description

The hiking trail to the Riffelsattel and Ötscherschutzhaus runs through the forest and repeatedly crosses the ski slope. From the summit station of the chair lift, a single trail on rocky terrain leads steadily uphill to the Ötscher plateau, past the Hüttenkogel.

The reward is a magnificent 360° view of the surrounding mountains and the Alpine foothills.
