Even away from the most popular winter sports grounds, the Ybbstal Alps are surrounded by idyllic snow-covered forest tracks, perfectly prepared cross-country ski runs and enchanting winter landscapes. Going down the slopes and touring on the Ötscher

Sleigh riding & Ice Skating

Fun and action is guaranteed on the approx. 1km long natural sleigh riding run Ziegenalm in Göstling an der Ybbs. Sleighs are available for a small rental fee of 5 €. When icy temperatures freezes the Lunzer See, the lake turns into a wonderful natural ice rink. Ice skating while knowing the resting Lunzer See lies underneath you is a special experience. With a suitable ice cover, the lake invites you to take a few skating steps on the huge natural ice surface. The Landhotel Zellerhof offers skates for rent.
