Ski touring on groomed pistes in Göstling/Hochkar is strictly prohibited all day (day and night!)!
Please note that skiing on closed pistes on the Hochkar is prohibited without exception! Furthermore, it is forbidden to use the pistes outside the operating hours from 5.00PM to 08.30AM.
Why is that?
Parts of the pistes have to be prepared with a rope winch. This rope is up to 1km long, can dig into the snow and is therefore often not visible. Crossing the rope can lead to fatal accidents. There is no danger protection!
The Hochkar Bergbahnen appeal to the common sense of guests to observe the closures and thank them for their understanding!
