Road bike events 2024

This year cycling has some highlights in store for fans and racing bike enthusiasts.

The Ybbstal Alps have a long tradition and long history when it comes to racing bike events.

From the Uniqa Classic (formerly Vienna - Gresten - Vienna) over 20 years ago to the state championships in 2023, professional cyclists have often experienced the advantages and beauty, but also the topographical challenges, of the alpine Mostviertel at racing pace. Hobby riders can also get to know the region at various racing bike events every year.

Pre-Alpine cycling marathon Waidhofen an der Ybbs
The low-traffic route through the racing bike region of the Ybbstal Alps in the Mostviertel is particularly impressive because of its landscape. The 800 meters in altitude are spread over two climbs in the first half of the almost 100km long loop, before the second part picks up the pace along the Ybbs.
Special treat: sectional groups (30kmh + 34kmh) for real hobby drivers. Find out more!
