Small but nice: the Maiszinken in Lunz am See

The ski resort Maiszinken in the mountaineering village Lunz am See is the ideal place for the little ones to make their very first turns in the snow.

The Maiszinken high above Lunzer See Lake is very popular with families for its four and a half kilometres of natural snow slopes, children's playground and sunny location. Visiting it is well worth your while: The Maiszinken ski resort convinces with character and great value for money.

For beginners, the children's playground with fairy-tale figures and a free-of-charge magic carpet as well as intermediate exit at the double T-bar lift are a perfect start. Advanced athletes will love the three natural snow slopes with a total length of four and a half kilometres.

The snack hut (“Imbisshütte”), the alp inn Rehberg and the ski parlour Moas take care of the visitors’ physical well-being.

You can also make use of the free-of-charge Ötscher-Hochkar ski bus (bus-on-demand service to the ski resort Maiszinken). Information and German ski bus folders are available at the Lunz am See tourist association: t +43 7486 93049, e
