Description

During a walk, visitors can discover, among other things, the historic church with the second oldest bell in Lower Austria and the modern Kreuzkapelle. At the Kreuzkapelle, there is a viewpoint where you can enjoy a panoramic view from Traunstein, over the Großer Priel to the Ötscher.

The monastic forest of Seitenstetten Abbey provides refreshing shade along the circular route on hot days. As a cadastral community, St. Georgen has belonged to the city of Waidhofen a/d Ybbs since the municipal merger in 1972.
