Dreamlike hike through the typical alpine pasture landscape of the Ybbstal Alps past many huts.
Description
The hike takes us along a leisurely hiking trail from the Ebnerbrand parking lot at the Kurzeck organic farm across the Siebenhütten alpine pasture area, continuing over lush alpine pastures full of fragrant herbs. The route is only moderately uphill and takes us past the contentedly grazing herds of cows. Again and again, the surrounding forest of the Königsberg offers fantastic views of the surrounding mountains. We pass various alpine pastures and huts, such as the Schlageralm, Vierhütten, Turnhöhe and Daucheralm, until we finally reach the serviced "Kitzhütte". Here we find our well-deserved rest with a view of the Hochkar and friendly hosts.
