Wenten car park - Wenten farmhouse - Deichseleck - Lying Cat - Summit Voralpe or Tanzboden/ tripoint - return via Stumpfmauer, otherwise the same path as the ascent

Route description Pre-Alpine route

From the Wenten farmhouse (after the Wenten car park) alternately on the forest road and a marked path to the Deichseleck (1100 m, beautiful pre-Alpine view). Turn right here and go up a steep path through young and mature forest and later over a rocky ridge up to the rock formation "Lying Cat" and further to the highest point of the route at Tanzboden. The return path leads over the Stumpfmauer summit cross and then down the same path back into the valley. 

Directions

Coming from Vienna, A1 to the Amstetten West exit, via B121 to Waidhofen an der Ybbs, from there continue on B31 to Hollenstein an der Ybbs, access to Wenten car park possible.
Coming from the west, A1 to the Oed exit, via Aschbach Markt on B121, via B121 to Waidhofen an der Ybbs, from there continue on B31 to Hollenstein an der Ybbs, access to Wenten car park possible.
