Brief description

The musical start to the hiking autumn! ⛰️ 🎵

From 07-08.09.2024, the Mostviertel mountain world around Ybbsitz is entirely dedicated to the Gipfelklaenge.

Description

This year the Gipfelklaenge take place around the municipality of Ybbsitz in the Ybbstal Alps. The artists enchant the most beautiful places in the region with their music – live and in the open air. On Sunday, September 8, 2024, idyllic places around Hubberg and along the Panorama Höhenweg (start and end point at the former Ybbsitz station) become unique open-air stages. These atmospheric concerts make the Gipfelklaenge an extraordinary hiking experience year after year.

Route description Gipfelklaenge 2024 - Sunday, September 8, 2024

The Sunday route of this year's Gipfelklaenge starts at 9:15 am from the meeting point, former Ybbsitz station. From here, the joint hike begins, over parts of the Panorama Höhenweg to the Angerbauern Chapel. Upon arrival, a concert will immerse the idyllic surroundings under large trees in a harmonious symbiosis of nature and music. Always accompanied by the breathtaking view of the Panorama Höhenweg, from the hilly Mostviertel to the more alpine southern part, the unique richness of the Mostviertel landscape is revealed. The path then leads further up to the summit of Hubberg, which is circled. Continuing along the Panorama Höhenweg, after a refreshment at the Ekamp wine tavern, a worthy final concert awaits amid the magnificent nature of the Ybbstal Alps. The return path partly follows the Panorama Höhenweg again, accompanied by picturesque views and fragrant flower meadows back to the starting point, the former Ybbsitz station (approximate return here around 4:45 pm).
