Alpine path to Frieslingalm

Description

Our Frieslingalm is a paradise for nature lovers, hikers and hunters. Far away from the usual tourism, it presents itself in its pre-Alpine beauty. Alpine farming, agriculture, forestry and hunting are practiced and maintained in the traditional way. In the summer months there are around 75 head of young cattle on the pastures. During this time, the charming alpine hut is fully managed. Return the same way.

Route description Alpine path to Frieslingalm

Starting from the parking lot at the Rider's Parlor Gut Theuretzbach > following the signage under the manor house along the gravel path next to the horse paddocks > further into the forest and relatively steeply uphill on the left > finally follow the somewhat flatter forest road to the clearing, where the alpine pasture stretches and the Frieslingalm welcomes hikers.
