Description
The 1st Lower Austrian Schnapps Road has been stretching along the Panoramahöhenweg since 2004. It connects the Ybbsitz farmhouses "Siegsonnleiten", "Kesselsonnleiten", "Spiegelbauer", "Jägersonnleiten", "Hochsonnleiten", "Stöckl" and "Grestenberg". Signs point to the farms where you can taste and buy homemade distillates.
Tip: The Pimaskapelle chapel is a beautiful viewing and photo point (parking at Schwarzenberg no. 19, Kleineck). The Marienkapelle chapel is located on the pilgrimage route from Sonntagberg to Mariazell. It was built in 1968 to replace an old chapel. On Easter Sunday, a prayer for a good harvest takes place here. On Corpus Christi, the chapel is the station of a procession.
