Brief description

Rosenau Municipal Office - Ybbstal Bike Route - Lueggraben - Double - Sonntagberg Basilica - Gleiss - Rosenau 

Description

Initially flat along the Ybbstal bike route to the beginning of Waidhofen/Ybbs. Over the very low-traffic Luegergraben, the route continuously climbs to the panoramic high route between St. Leonhard and Sonntagberg. Just a few more pedal strokes to the famous basilica at Sonntagberg, the "gateway to the Ybbstal Alps."

Directions

Coming from Vienna, take the A1 to the Amstetten West exit, B121 to Kematen an der Ybbs, then left onto Allhartsberger Street after Kematen, continue via Burgstall to Sonntagberg.

Coming from the west, take the A1 to the Oed exit, then via Gobetzberg, Fohra, Samesbruck, Aschbach Markt, and Heide on B121, B121 to Kematen an der Ybbs, then left onto Allhartsberger Street after Kematen, continue via Burgstall to Sonntagberg.
