Brief description

The name says it all! From the (Ybbs) valley up to the basilica at Sonntagberg and further along the ridge on the panoramic high route. Hosts along the route invite you to regional cuisine.

Description

Where the Austrian Cycling Tour has stopped several times, hobby cyclists can enjoy the 360° panorama. The 30km long route starting from Waidhofen/Ybbs up to the well-known pilgrimage basilica Sonntagberg (675m).

After a short photo break, continue on the scenic panoramic high route to St. Leonhard am Walde, then accompanied by magnificent landscape, rapidly descend back to the Ybbs valley town Waidhofen an der Ybbs.

Despite the short distance, the attractive route offers some challenging climbs and beautiful views.
