Route description TUT GUT hiking route 3 Waidhofen/Ybbs

Follow the trail signs TUT GUT hiking route 3. 

The hiking trails through the beech forests of the Buchenberg Nature Park with great views of the town of Waidhofen an der Ybbs are an experience for all ages with suitable sturdy footwear. Easy to moderate climbs alternate with relaxing flat sections. 

Only conditionally suitable or not suitable for wheelchairs and strollers.

A1 motorway exit Amstetten West, B121 to Waidhofen/Ybbs

Parking

Hammergasse 4, 3340 WY. 10 minutes walk from the parking lot to the nature park house. 

Färbergasse, 3340 WY. 10 minutes walk from the parking lot to the nature park house (official nature park parking lot) -> access via Weyerer Street. 

By train to Waidhofen an der Ybbs main station - then by bus (Gymnasium stop) or the city train (Schillerpark stop)

Make sure to wear suitable hiking shoes for your trip. This helps avoid painful blisters and supports your feet. For new hiking shoes, it is advisable to "break them in" to get your feet used to them.
