Details for: Ybbsuferweg - Waidhofen an der Ybbs

Brief description

The signposted Eisenstraße theme trail leads along the riverbank and through the picturesque old town with its many historic houses, churches, and towers.

Description

Enjoy nature right in the middle of the city. This is made possible by the idyllic Ybbsuferweg, which is just a few minutes away from the city center. At the Ybbsturm, nature lovers can start a relaxing and interesting hike along the Ybbs river. Information boards provide insights into the regional economic and cultural history, nature, and fish. The Ybbsuferweg is accessible from May to October. Approximately 15 minutes walking time from the Ybbsturm to Ybbsitzerstraße (at the height of Florianibrücke).

When walking the same path back, new perspectives of the Ybbs landscape that were previously hidden are revealed.
